Overview
Children hunt for bugs in soil, under logs and in bushes, look closely at legs, wings and homes, and learn that every creature has a special role.
Learning benefits
Bugs are the easiest wild animals for children to meet up close. Handling them gently is a first lesson in respect for living things: gentle hands, quiet voices, and everything goes back exactly where it was found.
